WEST COAST SWING UNLOCKED is here to help you get the most out of your event, without having to figure it all out alone. From meeting fellow dancers and navigating your first competition to workshops, socials and plenty of cheering each other on, you'll have a community around you throughout the weekend. Come for the dancing and hopefully leave with new friends, more confidence and a community that feels a little more like home.
18:00 | Start your weekend at the WCS UNLOCKED Welcome Hub with Vicky in the Side Studio. Meet your fellow WCS UNLOCKED dancers, make a few new friends and get to know the people you'll be sharing this journey with. We'll walk through the weekend schedule, answer any questions and share a few helpful tips to help you make the most of your first Bavarian Open. By the end, you'll already have some familiar faces to share the weekend with.
18:30 | Time to hit the dance floor! After the Welcome Hub, we'll head to the Main Ballroom together for Dalena & Zee's All Levels class. Everyone is welcome, so it's the perfect chance to experience your first workshop together. If you're still feeling inspired afterwards, Joel & Chantelle will be teaching another All Levels class at 19:30.
20:30 | Bavarian Night! Dust off your lederhosen or dirndl (or simply come as you are!) and join in one of the most fun evenings of the weekend. You'll get to watch your teachers perform, enjoy the legendary Sepp & Heidi competition and soak up the incredible Bavarian Open atmosphere. Vicky will be around all evening if you need anything, or if you'd simply like someone to grab a dance with!
There will be a dedicated WCS UNLOCKED table in the Main Ballroom throughout the weekend. Feel free to use it as your home base whenever you're in the ballroom. A place to relax, catch up, ask questions or simply enjoy some company.
The dancing doesn't stop until 4am, but there's absolutely no pressure to stay until the end. Pace yourself, enjoy your first evening and remember, the weekend is only just beginning! (Although if you happen to still be around at midnight, there's a delicious midnight snack waiting for you!)

14:00 | Check In & Welcome Hub with Vicky in the Side Studio. Just arrived? Come and settle in with the rest of the WCS UNLOCKED group. It's a chance to meet everyone, get up to speed with what's happened so far, ask any questions and share how your weekend is going. The Bavarian Open team will also help you collect your wristband and register for any competitions.

17:30 | WCS Level 2 in Side Studio with Ben Morris
18:45 | Dinner & Mingle at the Event Hotel Augustin Bar. Bring some food with you if you're hungry, or grab something to drink from the bar. Whether you're eating, drinking or simply coming along for a chat, everyone is welcome. We'll catch up on the event so far and get to know each other a little better!
20:30 | It's time to watch some AMAZING performances! This is one of the highlights of the weekend and a brilliant opportunity to see just how creative and diverse West Coast Swing can be. Don't worry if you don't understand everything yet, simply enjoy the atmosphere and cheer everyone on! Join the WCS UNLOCKED table in the Main Ballroom, soak up the atmosphere and cheer everyone on!
After performances | Time to social dance! Ask someone new to dance, enjoy the atmosphere and have fun putting everything you've learnt into practice. Remember, everyone was new once! Vicky will be around throughout the evening if you need anything or would like a dance.
The dancing continues until 6am, but there's absolutely no pressure to stay until the end. Go at your own pace, enjoy the evening and remember, Saturday is another exciting day full of dancing, learning and community.

10:00 - 11:00 | Thinking of competing in Newcomer Jack & Jill? This is your last chance to register for the BEST division of the entire event, what have you got to lose? You can sign up at the registration desk until 11am
10:30 | Hungry to learn this morning? You can join Robert Royston in the Main Ballroom for the All Levels workshop. This is your chance to learn with dancers from all levels.
11:30 | Catch up and get ready for the Newcomer Jack & Jill with Vicky in Side Studio. Whether you're competing or cheering from the sidelines, come and join us before the Newcomer Jack & Jill. We'll go through exactly what to expect, answer any last-minute questions and help calm those pre-comp nerves. Most importantly, we'll remind ourselves that today is all about having fun and celebrating every dancer who steps onto the floor.
12:00 | It's competition time! Our WCS UNLOCKED table will be our home throughout the day. A place to relax, recharge, celebrate and cheer each other on. Whether you're competing, watching or simply soaking up the atmosphere, today's all about supporting one another. Every competitor was a beginner once, so let's make plenty of noise and celebrate every dance!
After the competitions, take some time to relax, grab some food and celebrate the day's achievements together. Whether you danced one song or ten, stepped onto the competition floor or simply cheered from the sidelines, today is worth celebrating.
19:30 | Come dressed in your black tie attire as it's time for the Red Carpet Reception! We'll meet at the bar area for a group photo before enjoying the evening together. It's the perfect opportunity to celebrate the day, catch up with friends old and new, and enjoy one of Bavarian Open's most elegant traditions.
21:00 | Spotlight Jack & Jill Finals. One of the biggest highlights of the weekend! Sit back, enjoy the incredible dancing and cheer on the finalists as they take to the floor. Whether you're dreaming of competing one day or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this is an experience you won't forget.
The dancing doesn't stop until 6am, but there's no right or wrong way to enjoy the weekend. Dance as much as you'd like, take breaks when you need them and make the most of every moment. And if you happen to still be dancing at 5am... keep an eye out for a delicious surprise or two!

Vicky will be around throughout the evening if you need anything or would simply like one last dance.
