Or, if you arrive a little early, take a short trip to the beautiful destinations like Schloß Neuschwanstein or one of the mountain lakes.
Friday morning offers a free walking tour starting at the main station (Hauptbahnhof). Or you just explore the city yourself.

"alter Peter" (St. Peters Church)
The oldest and one of the highest church towers in Munich. Perfect to get a view of the whole city and the Alps on the horizon. (Just be prepared to climb 14 stories of stairs)
